The Finest Pheasant & Chukar Hunting

Stuyvesant Outdoor Adventures boasts one of the finest pheasant hunting experiences inNew York State and the entire regional. Our pheasant hunters get the feel of a traditional Mid-west style upland bird hunt without venturing far from home. Pheasants and Chukar are always available in season.

We offer several types of fields; each providing a unique hunting experience. Our clients enjoy walking our 500+ acres of beautifully maintained habitat while hunting for fast flying pheasants and or chukar. Our Pheasants Forever habitat is planted yearly to provide the best cover for our Pheasants and Chukars while providing a traditional Mid-west style hunt in the state of New York. Our Habitat includes a variety of bird-friendly habitat plant species. Stuyvesant Outdoor Adventures is also equipped with a bird tower that hosts continental style tower shoots.

The Tower is situated on top of a knoll with shooting stands completely surrounding it. Throughout the season Stuyvesant Outdoor Adventures hosts tower shoots where anyone can join.

Upland Bird Shoot & Stay Package

Arrive the night before, enjoy a home-cooked dinner and unwind in the beautiful Stuyvesant Manor. After a night of relaxation wake up to a delicious home-cooked breakfast. When you have finished your breakfast, head down to the shooting range for some warm up clays.

After you’re warmed up, we will have a short break and get ready for the pheasant hunt. During your field hunt you will be provided a guide and a dog for a nice walk through of our fields in our beautifully maintained Pheasant preserve. This truly is an experience you will never forget. Hunt either AM or PM ( depending upon availability).

Requirements

Season: The upland bird season runs from Sept 1st to April 15th. We are open seven days a week for am and pm hunts.

Hunting Licences: As we are a Class A shooting preserve, no hunting license is required to hunt upland birds with us.

Blaze Orange: We require ALL HUNTERS to wear either blaze orange hats or vests and protective eye wear. Blaze orange Hats, vests and eye wear are available for purchase in our pro shop.

Ammo: Stuyvesant Outdoor Adventures is an Eco-friendly shooting preserve. Recommend 7.5 load.
